TERRES D'ALBINE was created in 1998 by Alain BOUISSET. This company is the trade name for outdoor decorations from BOUISSET 's Brickyard.
The Bouisset's family have more than 120 years experience in terra cotta, when they began to made pots and garden decorations.
At first, the company created a collection of handmade and glazed clay pots. The style of the pots is the Italian Renaissance. This collection consist of 3 dimensions (height 60, 80 and 110cm) with a range of smooth, Bacchus head, "Fleur de Lys", garland, Classic medallion, vine leaves finishs and a selection of colors. Each pot is finished with a patine to give them an older look.
The second collection of terra cotta products is a range of clay pots hand-made with a special Southern French technique "A la corde". With this technique, the company makes pots between 60cm to 130cm. Pots created are Amphora, Jars (a typical Southern French pots used in the past to stock foods and liquids) and an "Art Deco" pot. The special finish of these pots gives them a similar look to an antique finish.
The third collection is a range of limestone garden ornaments: Statues, Putti, Bouquets, Urns, Animals... All of this collections is treated with a special patine.
It's with this special unique patine that the production from TERRES D'ALBINE is appreciated by clients all around the world.
